What is VeraTime?
VeraTime replaces clipboards, synchronized stopwatches, and walkie-talkies at ski races. Each timer’s phone is an independent clock; every press syncs to the cloud instantly, and the whole crew talks through built-in Race Radio.

Roles
Race Director creates the race, holds all codes, monitors the crew, and exports results. Start Timer is at the start gate, enters bib numbers, and presses START the instant the racer’s feet leave the start. Finish Timer is at the finish line, selects from racers on course, and presses FINISH the moment their feet cross the line. Spectators see read-only live results when enabled.
Race Modes
Time Trials support unlimited runs and coach stats. Race supports two-run team or individual competition with points or total-time scoring. Hand Timing is the official backup workflow with time-of-day data, corrections, audit logs, and clean export.
Finish Corrections
Finish timestamps stay permanent. Corrections change which bib owns a time: unknown racer, wrong bib, or swapped finish order.
Button Modes
Instant Press fires immediately. 3-Second Hold captures time on first touch, then commits only if held to 3.0 seconds.
